Venture Capital Funding & Startups in India

As i have seen most of VC firm in India funds to those startups who had started their company in past, but what will be with early stage ideas? I personally feel that most of young minds in India have good creative ideas during college life, they can’t make it happen due to the shortage of funds. As the future of our Nation depends on young minds, so Venture Capitalists should come forward to support early stage ideas.

There is no such VC firms who provide seed fund at initial level to build prototype or working model of the Idea. As there is high risk for VCs to put money in making prototype and its testing. VCs should have soft philanthropic heart towards startup and early stage ideas.

India needs such kind of ecosystem for startups and early stage ideas.

I always requests VCs for funding of my Startup, but in results they say start you idea from one city and run it atleast of 6 month and give us some revenue model, then we will think about it. But the question arises in mind, where the money will come at seed stage to start it from one city? where the money will come to build a prototype, as i am a poor guy hailing from a very poor class family in Orissa.

It is not my case, i am saying the problems of lots of students like me who face in our Nation.

When VCs fund a Startup, they look the ideas, team, market & revenue potential.
